Training Assessment

Service Description

No shortcuts, no tricks, no cruelty, no nonsense. - Booking is for the primary assessment which will be arranged at owner's expense, to be conducted at business address or location of client's choosing. - Handling issues (such as tying or saddling issues) and safety issues (kicking, biting, food aggression) must be disclosed at the time of evaluation. Upon completion of assessment and acceptance into training, delivery of horse can be arranged. - Training rate is for one week's training and board. - Supplements and grain to be supplied by owner. Horse will be worked a minimum of five days per week and addressing the most pressing issues which come up in the assessment, as the priority. Other areas and maneuvers will be worked on concurrently to the priorities. Lessons are available free of charge while horse is in training (subject to trainer availability). Training prices are based on length of stay. A sliding scale of pricing is offered for long term arrangements. Keenan Performance Horses reserves the right to decline horses due to questionable soundness or safety concerns.
